Rounding out the "Echo" devices is the Echo Show 16. Amazon calls it its "most powerful" version. The device is roughly 40% thinner and features a 16-inch HD screen. There's also a Nanomatte variation to reduce screen glare from sunlight. Amazon highlights "Screen Styles," which lets users turn it into a family planner, meal planner, and more.

The Echo Show 16 features a wide-angle 13-megapixel camera, which Amazon says offers the “widest field of view” on an Echo Show device so far. It has 20 percent more computing power and an upgraded Omnisense fusion platform, allowing Alexa to turn up the heat when the room is too cold or turn on a light when you enter the room.

Amazon announced several new smart home devices today, including two all-new device categories: the $200 Echo Time smart alarm clock and $230 Alexa Photo Frame. Both are available now, along with a upgraded Echo Dot for $100 and a new Echo Studio with a built-in Home Camera for $250.
